“Waverley has led the way for virtually all golf in the state and has been the center of the golf universe in Oregon since opening in 1896.” Pacific Northwest Golf Association
And we take that role and responsibility seriously. Waverley is synonymous with the most closely held traditions of the game. Its historic and beautiful golf course sitting on one-hundred and thirty-eight majestic acres of golf course facilities along the banks of the Willamette River echoes with historical golf significance. Most games at Waverley are organized on the practice range or first tee. Starting times are rarely scheduled. An open tee time tradition creates a community of members dedicated to enlarging their circle of friends. Some Clubs state a no tee time policy. At Waverley it is both a reality and a gift.
