Tennis

New to the Waverley tennis program is Craig Koessler.  Craig played college tennis at Pacific Lutheran University where he was All-Conference, All-District and four-time participant in the NAIA National Championships.  He is a two-time senior national doubles champion and has been one of the top senior players in the Pacific Northwest for several years.  In his 30+ years as a tennis professional, he has taught at clubs, park and recreation facilities, resorts, coached college and high school teams, managed a tennis specialty store, and oversaw junior player development in the northwest as USTA/PNW’s High Performance Director.  He also had a 20-year affiliation with the Multnomah Athletic Club as an instructor and coach.  Craig will be presenting several tennis clinics and is also available for private and group lessons; 503-577-3583 or [email protected]

Tennis attire for men and juniors - shall consist of a shirt with sleeves and collar or crew neck and tennis shorts.  Tennis shoes are required; black soled running shoes are not permitted.  Caps may be worn with the brim facing forward.  Tennis attire is permitted in the Grille.
